RYA Scotland - Board

I’ve been a windsurfer since I was seven years old. Since then I’ve competed casually, instructed the sport and generally enjoyed pottering around on the water.

The Royal Yachting Association Scotland (RYA Scotland) has two distinct roles. Firstly it is a membership organisation charged with looking after the interests of individuals, clubs, training centres and affiliates of the RYA in Scotland. Secondly, RYA Scotland is the recognised governing body for sailing in all it’s forms in Scotland.

In 2020 I joined the board of RYAS as a Non-Exec Director (Communications). Find out more about their volunteer board.
